Causes: Children & Youth, Crime & Law, Youth Violence Prevention
Mission: The primary exempt purpose of the salem crisis center is to provide crisis intervention for children (ages 6-18) in need of a safe place to lodge due to abuse or impending danger in a variety of circumstances.
Programs: Clients served are children who are in crisis and emergency situations in daily home life. Some placements are for short duration while others may be for two or three months while the crisis is resolved or placement is made in another facility. Program revenues are in accordance with contracts with missouri division of family services for clients served. Five clients were served during the fiscal year.
