Mission: St vincent mission inc provides emergency services to individuals and families including a food pantry, second hand store, annual christmas store, emergency finances, home repairs, scholarships for books and garden support.
Programs: In 2017, st vincent mission's emergency assistance program provided 104 families with a total of 16,292 in utility bill, rent or mortgage payments, travel costs, car repairs, etc. 74 of the recipient families provided 433 hours of community service for the funds received. Additionally, 428 volunteers gave 19,133 hours of service to repair 47 homes. Material costs totaled 52,285. The majority of the funds were raised by volunteer groups, and the estimated value of donated time is 452,407. Further, st vincent mission provided approximately 39,321 meals worth of commidities, donated food and food certificates and another 3,667 in personal care products to 1,901 individuals throughout 2017. 361 individuals benefited from the 2017 christmas store. The mission received 77,823 in donated food, clothing and christmas gifts.
