Mission: Saint luke's medical group is a faith-based, not-for-profit multispecialty medical group committed to the highest levels of excellence in providing health care and health related services in a caring environment. As a member of saint luke's health system, we are dedicated to enhancing the physical, mental, and spiritual health of the communities we serve.
Programs: Saint luke's medical group (the group), is a primary care medical group providing services to patients in the kansas city and surrounding communities. During 2014 the group recorded 288,000 patient visits. The group participates in the medicare and medicaid programs and provides services on a charitable basis for patients without adequate means to pay for their care. For 2014, the unreimbursed cost to provide care to medicaid recipients and charity care patients was $270,000 and $11,000, respectively. The group extends the charitable, educational, and health missions of its related hospitals, saint luke's hospital of kansas city, saint luke's northland hospital, saint luke's east hospital, saint luke's south hospital and saint luke's cushing hospital. The group's medical personnel are very active in community health education programs, including speaking at public health forums and periodically offering free health screenings and assessments.
