Mission: Our mission is to host a tall ship festival every three years (again in 2005), increasing ship attendance each time. We host tall ships throughout the year, allowing San Franciscans a chance to tour and sale traditional tall ships. We will plan and host a waterfront maritime festival with educational and maritime activities later this year, featuring music and dance from around the world.
Programs: Adopt-A-Sailor, a program where sailors are adopted for a night by a host family at a port of call; Kids on the Bay, a program giving school groups opportunities to learn about teamwork, leadership, and international cultures through touring tall ships.
