Mission: Safenet services is creating a healthy, supportive environment for individuals and families healing from the consequences of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
Programs: Provides shelter to women and children who are homeless as a result of domestic violence, sexual assault and/or stalking. During 2014, we assisted with 393 protective orders, 788 hours of protective order court assistance, 1118 clients assisted in safety planning, 369 clients received counseling or attended support group, 419 secondary clients served and 8821 miles transporting victims. The organization also had 220 hours for supervised visitation/exchanges, 49 clients in batterer's intervention program, 4952 calls to the crisis line. We had 173 volunteers completing a total of 10691 volunteer hours. Safenet services offers non-residential victims individual counseling and therapeutic groups, court advocates to assist with filing protective orders and supervised visitation. Batterers intervention program is conducted by a licensed counselor. Safent coordinates both rogers and mayes counties coordinated response teams. Crisis line operateds 24 hours, 365 days a year. Safety planning is initiated with callers and referrals are given to our shelter and for other social services needs. 5,401 crisis line calls were answered.
