Mission: Safe haven pet rescue is a non-profit, volunteer staffed organization that rescues abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats and places unclaimed pets into new, loving homes.
Programs: During the current fiscal year 15 animals were adopted out through the organization, and 89 animals were placed into new homes. Also, a food bank of surplus animal food is available to give to pet owners so they can keep and feed their pets. During the current fiscal year, the organization provided 8,427 pounds of dry dog food, 410 cans of canned food for dogs and cats, and 403 pounds of dry cat food.
