Safe And Sound Animal Rescue

This scammer is far from a rescue. She does not save dogs. She does not help dogs. What she does is scam people out of money that they think they’re giving to her to help these dogs and find great homes. She steals photos of dogs from other rescues from other people randomly on Facebook blocks those rescues and people and then uses those dog pictures to beg for money. She doesn’t even have these dogs in her possession. Once in a while, she’ll have a dog and give it to one of her friends as foster so that people think she’s doing the right thing when in fact, she takes the money and sits in a bar looking for her drug fix. Stop supporting this!

I've known this rescue for many years. I fostered over a dozen dogs for Karyn. In fact I'm a foster fail for 2 of them. There isn't a more caring, hard working rescue group out there. She will intensely screen all potential adopters until she finds the right fit for each pet. To all the disgruntled, potential adopters bashing this rescue, you were obviously not the right fit, as evidenced by the hate filled reviews. It's not about you, but the animals.

Non profit??? It's 100% profit for this unemployed scammer. Solicits money for vetting, food, blankets and weewee pads. I stood behind her in Tractor Supply while she used her non profit (Cashier asked) for supplies for her own dogs leaving the foster of the only puppies she had to pay for everything herself. 3 puppies died while Karyn lied about a vet appointment. Shut this murderer down. She needs to go to jail for abuse and fraud. Beware of new name, Safe and Sound Pet Rescue. Texas beware! You've been warned about her.

This is not an animal rescue. This is a place where a mother and daughter swindle you out of your money and give you sick animals. They don't care about what happens to the animals after they pawn them off to you and they get paid and that is completely disgusting. They just shouldn't ever have animals in their care. DO NOT GO HERE. I have talked to many people and they had the same stories. Please go find a legit animal rescue and you won't have to deal with this shady family.

Safe and Sound Animal Rescue, located in Wantage, NJ aren’t who they claim to be. I put in an application for one of the dogs they had up for adoption. I even went to meet the dog at an adoption event and the individual who runs the organization, stated I was the first to put in an application for that particular dog and to contact her to set up a home visit. She never picks up her phone or return phone calls. When she finally does pick up, she has some excuse or another as to why I hadn’t heard back. We finally had an appointment set up for a home visit, but the day came and went and she never showed, never called to tell me something came up. When I, again, finally was able to get a hold of her, she had another excuse as to why she couldn’t show and that they are reviewing a couple other applications as well. She said she would get back to me at the end of the week, she never did. It’s been two weeks since then, and since, I’ve done research on the organization. There have been allegations, to the point that there’s a police case against her, of not completing the adoption process, or she would adopt an animal out, then change her mind because she wanted the animal for herself. This is no way to do business, and it is very heartbreaking to be so willing to give a good home to an animal that needs extra attention and it’s a battle. I would hate for anyone to go through what I went through, I wouldn’t recommend her rescue services to anybody, if I could give it zero stars, I would have.
