Mission: S. T. E. P. Academics was founded, and remains true to its purpose, to offer uncompromising and affordable academic enrichment services in the areas of test preparation, homework assistance and tutoring to students in grades 1-12 using credentialed teachers. S. T. E. P. Academics, inc continues to apply for grants and corporate sponsorship to offset the costs that are associated with supplemental education. Moderate to low income families deserve the academic support that is required for their child to become a successful student and an asset to their community. Located as an after school program on the premises of public schools, s. T. E. P. Academics, inc extends the hours of operation of the local school building offering additional academic opportunities that revitalize learning as a community priority that is equipped to participate and problem solve in the complexities of a global 21st century work environment.
Programs: S. T. E. P. Academics is an academic enrichment program and an after school homework/tutorial program which serves students in grades 1-12. Step hires grade and subject level certified teachers. S. T. E. P. Academics has a sustained enrollment of 60 - 75 students annually. Families served: 65-70.
