Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The ruth keeler memorial library is an educational and cultural center for the north salem community, serving residents from infants to senior citizens with print and multimedia resources as well as enriching programs. The library seeks to encourage an informed and connected community by promoting the joy of reading, internet literacy, and by offering art and cultural events in a welcoming environment.
Programs: The library circulated thousands of books, audio/visual materials and magazines free of charge to north salem library cardholders; presented many free cultural programs for all ages; and cooperated with other non-profit groups in north salem to expand its and their cultural offerings.
