We fell in love with our pup Millie by seeing her post on Facebook! We had just lost our sweet Lilly due to diabetes. As soon as we saw her pic we made an appointment and visited her at her fabulous foster (who is now a friend!). We fell harder in love for her and brought her home! She was three months old! I had a four yo little girl at the time who it not 5 as well as a one yo and Millie is the best with them! I would absolutely adopt another pup from this awesome organization! They are so kind, hard working, passionate about dogs and just a joy to work with! Please check them out!
My wife and I have been fostering for Ruff Redemption for well over a year now. They help us take great care of the fosters that we've had and thoroughly make sure that the person adopting the dogs is the best possible person to raise these dogs as if they're part of their family! We're an integral step in the adoption process. We personally meet all potential adopters to make sure that they be the best forever home for the dogs in our care. This is FANTASTIC group to work with and I'm extremely happy that we picked them to work with in fostering dogs for them!!!

We're on our fourth foster puppy and have had a blast working with Ruff Redemption. They're great at rescuing dogs that are either unwanted or about to be put down. We currently have a 5 month old puppy who was rescued from euthanasia and is the sweetest, most lovable puppy that I've ever met! She came to us with several scars and she is FEARLESS! She loves to play hard with our 95 lb German Shephard.
Our family has been Blessed to find Ruff Redemption Rescue. We have adopted from them and have volunteered as a Foster family.
You will not find a Rescue that does MORE for animals in need, than Ruff Redemption Rescue.
This NOT an easy mission, but these ladies do it with incredible selflessness. They give their Time, resources & Love to dogs, who in some cases, have never experienced, Comfort, acceptance & Love. They give them EVERYTHING that they need!!!

Ruff Redemption rescue has been a pleasure to work with. They always put the needs of the animals FIRST. Many of these animals have been through so much. The kindness and compassion that this group, shows not only it’s animals, but the families who are looking to adopt. They do everything necessary to make sure the each family & household are a good fit. Ruff Redemption gives these neglected animals, a safe Loving place to call home, while they recover from Emotional & Physical abuse and many times Medical NEGLECT.

I am a foster parent for Ruff Redemption Rescue. I’ve fostered quite a few dogs for them and I can honestly say they fully support their fosters. Leah & Alicia are quick to respond if needed. They ALWAYS have the dogs best interest at heart. Their adoption process is very thorough and they truly take the time to ensure that it’s a good fit for the dog and the potential adopters. The dogs are spayed/neutered before adoption to make sure that Ruff Redemption Rescue dogs are not adding to the overpopulation problem. Ruff Redemption Rescue dogs are the best & well cared for furbabies!
I honestly cannot say enough good things about this rescue. The adoption interview was more like a conversation between friends. Leah was super easy to work with. After our meet and greet we welcomed Storm to our home. The very next day the rescue sent over her full medical history for us to provide our vet team with. SOO much more detail that I have ever been given when adopting from a rescue! Storm has been such a gift and blessing to us, she's got an amazing temperament and blended into our pack like she was meant to be ours. Since adopting we have added them to our list of charities for donations and referrals. We were blessed to adopt with them and would definitely seek their assistance the next time we are looking to add to our family.
I knew Alicia for years and I happened to mention I was interested in getting a dog. She said “I think I have the perfect dog for you…” Once she showed me a picture of him, I had to meet him. 7 years later… he’s my best friend! Everything Alicia and her team do is amazing! They put whats best for the dogs first and that is vital for the dog and the adopter. I recommend Ruff Redemtion 200%.
I foster for this rescue and cannot speak highly enough about them. Their passion shines thru as they work so hard to save dog’s lives. Once they bring them into the rescue they give them nothing but the best & are very picky about placement to ensure it’s a perfect match! They are making an impact!

Delilah and Ruby both came to us as fosters that we decided to adopt. As a first time dog owner I had a LOT of questions, and this rescue was happy to answer every single on of them. Even after the adoptions were finalized, Leah and Alicia have been there to answer training questions and provide encouragement and guidance, which helps the dogs live their best life. They truly care about each and every one of their animals, and take the time to know the pups and potential adopters so the transition is as smooth as possible. (Even great fits can have rocky starts and bumpy roads!)

Leah and Alicia work their butts off for all of their dogs. As a foster and an adoptor you can't go wrong with this rescue. All the families I have met, are loving and quiet excited to get their new addition. The dogs are fully vetted, spayed and/or neutered prior to any adoption, which completely helps when bringing a new addition to your family.
I have two beautiful pups whom I adopted from Ruff Redemption! They are the best things that have ever happened to me, and they were so well taken care of by this rescue before I received them. They were loved by their foster family “almost” as much as they are loved by me and my family. I was a foster for 2 dogs that were abandoned around Christmas. Ruff Redemption was able to find an amazing home for the fur babies. They were so easy to work with and made sure they went to a new family as a pair!

Ruff Redemption Rescue is the best!! I still recommend them to others. We got our sweet pup from them in December 2019. They were so professional and truly showed they were seeking a forever adoption and weren’t trying to adopt to the first available applicants. They answered all of my questions and gave knowledgeable and helpful recommendations for vets and pet sitting services for family vacations and continue to answer questions I have as a pet owner 11 months later. Very caring organization. The foster family loved our pup, too.

Ruff Redemption discriminates against people without families. We have had high energy breeds in our home and have almost 9 acres on a river. We were unable to conceive and have a family, so we were told we couldn’t adopt a particular dog that was a boxer. We had a boxer along with two other large breed dogs. We were planning to adopt a second dog. We were told since we didn’t have children or another dog we couldn’t adopt. We said we’d happily take two dogs as we were planning on taking two, just wanted the boxer first. They claim we needed to already have one. Still not good enough, so again they are discriminating against us for not having a family. Don’t bother to complete the application with this shelter, and definitely donate your money elsewhere. It is so sad to see that a dog rescue has stooped to this level. Tell everyone you know. So sad.
It’s funny how this rescue doesn’t like when family are always out of the house due to working long hours. Mind you someone in my house is always home 24/7 and we have rescued before. Which we always give a higher donation. we are looking to add to the family and got denied because they don’t want the dogs outside they want them indoors all day. This rescue can not make up their minds on what type of family they are looking for. Unfortunately can’t give it a zero star rating.

Hi Kathy. As we have already told you many times, we place our dogs in homes that are the best fit for them based on personality and energy level. In our bio of this dog, it specifically stated she needed another dog or children. You had neither so we are not sure why you applied. We are positive there are many female boxers in the south that would be fine as an only dog. However, you believe that what you want takes precedence over what is best for a dog thar has already had a rocky start in life. Thanks for the review! It shows we take great pride in our organization and want only what is best for our dogs. Hope all is going well with you. Take care.
