Mission: Rs eden provides recovery, accountability and support services to facilitate individual, family and community movement from non-productive behavior to responsible, self-sufficient lifestyles.
Programs: Recovery services division (substance abuse): the recovery services division consists of licensed residential and outpatient treatment services for substance use disorder for adult men and women. Residential programs include skilled nursing services. Programs for both genders have integrated community mental health professionals to provide services to clients with co-occurring behavioral problems. Additional services include family therapy through collaboration with the university of minnesota, day care for women with children through pica/head start, recovery coaching, parenting coaching, and transportation. In 2017, a total of 572 unique adult clients received treatment services.
housing division: rs eden takes an active role in developing and operating affordable housing for homeless individuals and families; many who are recovering from substance abuse. Rs eden's "affordable supportive housing" includes on-site services to assure tenants have the resources and support necessary to sustain their housing. Alliance apartments, portland village, central avenue apartments, seventh landing, jackson street village, lindquist apartments, emanuel housing and dillon apartments are examples of rs eden's affordable supportive housing options. All rs eden supportive housing developments include on-site case management, employment assistance, sober social activities and referral assistance. Housing options for youth, single people and families are available. Rs eden collaborates with other service providers to develop, operate and offer consultation on supportive housing services, management and development. Rs eden provided housing for 851 tenants in 2017.
corrections division: the corrections division encompasses three licensed correctional halfway houses, an independent living program, and the sentence to service program. The corrections division holds federal, state, and county contracts to provide residential and non-residential accountability services to adult clients and some dependent minors. Ancillary services include case management, employment, housing, behavioral, mental, and physical health, as well as other transition needs. Education and support groups are available at all locations. In 2017 the residential corrections and sentence to service programs served 478 men and 152 women.
rsi laboratories division (monitoring and accountability): rsi laboratories is a forensic drug testing laboratory accredited by the college of american pathologists (cap). Rsi labs provides drugs-of-abuse testing services for federal and state corrections agencies, social service agencies, and substance use treatment programs. In 2017, 114,460 drug tests were performed. Food service and other revenue: rs eden prepares and serves affordable, nutritious meals to rs eden's corrections and recovery clients 365 days a year. In 2017, rs eden's kitchen staff and volunteers delivered over 154,400 meals to adults and children at risk for hunger in the twin cities.
