Causes: Education, Literacy, Remedial Reading & Encouragement
Mission: Roxy™ Therapy Dogs is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to bring comfort to children, to enhance the experience of learning, and to enrich the lives of our canine and human volunteers.
Target demographics: support and comfort school-aged children through the use of certified therapy dogs.
Direct beneficiaries per year: We serve 3,200 children per week with our therapy dog teams.
Geographic areas served: Central Bucks County, PA
Programs: Elementary School Reading Inspiration, Student Specialized Support, Secondary School Stress Relief, Courthouse Companionship, Pediatric Comfort, Roxy™ Responders
