Rev. Smith,
I have been apart of Rowlett Friendship Food Pantry since April 2020. The help that is provided to the community is amazing. Covid-19 has taken a toll on families many have no source of income due to the pandemic. Many seniors are home bound due to health issues. Rowlett Friendship has found away to reach out to the seniors by delivering much needed food and assistance. It is a privilege to work with this organization and it is also a privilege to serve the community.

I truly enjoy volunteering with Rowlett Friendship Baptist Church’s Emergency Food Pantry. It has been a pleasure getting to know many of the clients by name, and getting the opportunity to see their smiles as we provide food, conversation, and most importantly prayer. God is doing some amazing things at RFBC!

This ministry has help my family so much. When COVID hit my hrs at work we’re reduced to just 24hs. I am the sole provider for our family. Being able to come get food has taken a burden off my shoulders on feeding my kids. I can’t thank RFBC for the help they have provide by offering this food pantry.

I heard about this food pantry ministry through Rev. Marlon Bradford. I tell you it has been such a blessing. I've told all of my coworkers which are in the healthcare field. Our hours were cut to just 20 per week. Some of them were single parents. I am so thankful to have been able to use the food. The women, men and children that dedicated their time to help people they didn't know was amazing. Everyone was so helpful. I thank God for the church and the pastor who allowed this to happen at his church. God bless each of you. Mary and Larry Turner ❤ ♥

While volunteering at the Food Pantry, we met a kind woman named Ms. Johnson. Ms. Johnson adopted her three grandchildren and due to COVID-19 they have been out of school unable to get breakfast and lunch. She had no food in her freezer, but because of the food Rowlett Friendship provided her with she could feed her family for weeks. It's such a blessing to be able to the God ordained answer to someone's prayers. So many bright smiled and teary-eyed people came to our church that I could just go on and on with blessed encounters during this crazy time.

I am so glad to be a member of this ministry where we just don't talk the good talk but actually strive to walk it. We are actively living out our mission honoring God, developing ministries to strengthen families, and actively reaching out to those in need. If you are looking for a bible teaching ministry where you can grow and serve. I recommend Rowlett Friendship Baptist Church.
