Programs: Our most well-known program, the ronald mcdonald house located in hershey, pa, provides lodging, meals and a comforting environment to out-of-town families of seriously ill or injured children who are receiving critical medical treatment at penn state health childrens hospital/hershey medical center. Everything offered for families at the ronald mcdonald house is currently offered at no charge thanks to generous community support.
the ronald mcdonald family room, located on the nicu floor within the penn state hershey medical center, provides a comforting escape for families and access to a mix of snacks, games, puzzles and more both in the family room itself and via its hospitality cart that travels to lounges located throughout the children's hospital. Everything offered through the ronald mcdonald family room program is currently offered at no charge thanks to generous community support.
the ronald mcdonald house charities of central pa grant program is the only program that is 100% funded by monies raised through local mcdonald's restaurants and focuses on providing financial support to eligible nonprofits' programs that improve the health and well-being of children and their families in adams, cumberland, dauphin, franklin, juniata, lancaster, lebanon, schuylkill, perry and/or york counties.
