Mission: The mission of the Rockwood Leadership Institute is to build a network of skilled and collaborative non-profit leaders
Results: Since 1999, Rockwood has trained more than 2,000 individual leaders, and helped thousands of non-profits improve their ability to achieve their goals, collaborate effectively and produce positive change.

Programs: Art of leadership trainingsrockwood leads multi-day residential leadership development retreats for social change leaders from the nonprofit, philanthropic, labor and socially responsible business sectors. This work includes our flagship "art of leadership" training as well as "advanced art of leadership" courses. In 2017, rockwood offered a total of sixteen art of leadership gatherings, in which 390 individuals participated.
rockwood fellowshipsrockwood convenes leaders within a given issue area or geographic region in order to catalyze more powerful and engaged learning communities and partnerships. Designed as a longer term, multi-retreat experience, each fellowship program identifies 12-24 influential leaders to engage in intensive training and receive tools in transformational leadership. yearlongsrockwood's leading from the inside out yearlong programs convene senior executive leaders from across the united states. These advanced, invitation-only programs are designed to create a dramatic shift in participants' capacity to both lead their organizations and networks effectively and to collaborate across the boundaries of issue area, political and organizing orientation, geography and background. 50 leaders participated in these multi-year programs in 2017.
