Mission: To increase the supply of affordable housing available for low and moderate-income persons in rockland county.
Programs: The rockland housing action coalition provides credit, budget, mortgage, rental and foreclosure prevention counseling to approximately 850 renters and homebuyers annually. In addition, the coalition develops affordable rental and for sale housing by obtaining grants from the federal, state and local government to reduce construction costs so low income individuals and families can afford to rent or purchase new housing.
