Mission: To establish, maintain and regulate a free public nonsectarian library in the borough of robesonia, serving the residents of robesonia and also serving neighboring communities, including heidelberg township, north heidelberg township and others.
Programs: We operate a public library serving robesonia borough, heidelberg and north heidelberg townships in berks county, in eastern pa. Our service area includes a population of approximately 5,000 people and our registered borrowers totaled 1,402 at the end of 2016. Our collection totals 22,717 items of print and audio/visual resources. We are open to serve our public for 50 hours weekly and had 31,806 visits to the library during 2016. We offer story time programs for children year-round, as well as school-age programming during the summer months. In addition, we hold programs for teens and adults, having reached a total of 188 programs for all ages in 2016. The total circulation of all library items in 2016 was 42,877 items. The library also circulates four e-reader devices to patrons with over 40 titles pre-loaded on each device.
