Programs: Cnc-star (cnc machinist star program) skills through apprenticeship & retraining the star program is designed to retain those dislocated or underemployed workers in new hampshire by providing them with the opportunity to be educated and mentored for available advanced manufacturing careers. The program is based, in part, on new hampshire's apprenticeship program, generally used for careers in the trades such as plumbing and electrical. This program has been successfully used in two different occupations and has been recognized as a model that can be used as a model for creating other apprenticeship opportunities throughout the state of new hampshire. It is run as an academic program awarding college credits through various college partnerships.
