Causes: Coronavirus Relief Food Banks, Food, Food Banks & Pantries, Homeless & Housing, Homeless Centers, Housing Support, Human Services

Mission: Working with love and compassion to end homelessness in chicago, particularly for people dealing with addiction.

Programs: Supportive housing: revive center's housing programs provide affordable housing and supportive housing to 139 men, women, and children. Cressey house provides housing to 28 households (28 adults and 13 children) who are chronically homeless with intensive supports to ensure housing stability. The royalton hotel offers affordable housing with supportive case management to ensure housing stability for its 98 tenants. Tenants in both programs are offered life skills workshop, community building activities, and referrals to comprehensive health and social services for improved quality of life.

coummunity outreach: for 102 years revive has offered basic assistance to homeless individuals and low-income families. Nutritious lunch bags were distributed to 666 individuals. Clothing and households items were given to 71 households from revive's second chance thrift. Christmas gifts were given to 4,492 men, women, and children (1,412 households). Meeting space is made available for community organizations during non-business hours at revive.

addiction treatment: licensed by the state of illinois and funded by the department of human services division of alcoholism and substance abuse and the chicago department of public health, revive offers outpatient addiction treatment to adult men and women. Clients receive group and individual therapy and case management services. 48 individuals were served during the year with 76% successfully completing treatment.
