Programs: Voluntary employee benefit association trust has been established to provide health and dental benefits to the retired former employees of university medical associates, carolina primary care physicians, pa and carolina health management services in accordance with the plan provisions. The plan sponsor has elected not to use trust assets for the first five years in order to allow sufficient accumulation of assets to provide these benefits. However due to accounting principles applicable to the plan, expenses paid from the employer's benefit plan for retirees have been included on this return as well as employee and employer contributions in the same amount.
