Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: ResQpaws Volunteer Org. is dedicated to making our county a better place for people and animals by: - Educating adopters/fosters to reduce pet overpopulation. - Promoting adoption/fostering of pets in shelters in Sutter County. - Providing humane education and community information services. - Serving as an advocate for pets and promoting humane standards. - Enhancing the relationship between pets and people. - Working side by side with the shelter staff in a positive manner.
Results: We are proud to announce that to date we have placed over 2,000 animals into their forever homes. To date our Facebook has over 5,000 followers and a 4.8 star review.
Target demographics: ResQpaws Volunteer Organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer animal rescue group working to educate the community about responsible pet ownership and to rescue Sutter Animal Services shelter pets, as well as those about to be surrendered, by finding them foster and permanent homes. Programs: We have a pet adoption event every Saturday at the Yuba City PetSmart from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM and are happy to help anyone find the type of cat or dog of their preference.
