Mission: REACH mobilizes volunteers and community resources to meet short-term crisis needs, to provide shelter for homeless adults during the cold weather months, and to provide informal caregiving to the elderly and disabled.
Programs: Reach crisis intervention: reach assists homeless or poor individuals in washington county with emergency lodging, food and medical needs. Volunteers respond to crisis needs in the evening & weekends when social services is closed.
cold weather shelter: 489 homeless adults were assisted with shelter, food, and community resources referrals to help them with needed services such as housing, medical care, counseling, and employment. The shelter operates october to april.
open table: surrounds impoverished individuals with a network of people working side by side to help them overcome whatever obstacles that are keeping them in poverty and to help them get out and break the cycle of poverty.
