Reiser Relief helped to show me the needs of the people of Haiti. I knew things were bad but didn't know how to specifically help and wanted to make sure my funds went to an organization where they would actually go to help those in need, not like some of the one's I have worked with in the past. William Jude, the Director of Reiser Relief, is very familiar with Haiti, travelling there frequently to ensure the organization is having as much impact as possible. Obviously, no organization is perfect, but if you are looking for a genuinely Catholic, caring and compassionate organization, run by an honest, hardworking, generous man of God, donate to Reiser Relief!

Reiser Relief is a nonprofit institution that has had a profoundly positive impact on the people of Haiti, and continues to progress in its methods and practice. Reiser Relief's Catholic foundation allows strides to be made in education for the young, medical care for the sick, and work opportunity for the jobless with a deep-rooted connection to the faith that is essential for life. Overall, the impact Reiser Relief has made, and continues to make is nothing short of exemplary.

I have known this organization for many years. The work they do is life changing and is exactly what Haiti needs to recover from natural disasters, gang violence and political unrest. I strongly encourage all who are reading this to help Reiser Relief and their mission.

I am so proud to share with you the good work that Reiser Relief is doing in Haiti! They have many projects all over the country. The one project i would like to highlight is the Village of Jesus in Leogane. The Village of Jesus is a home for 36 elderly women, providing medical care, food, shelter and love. The roofs on the five buildings were 20 years old and leaking very badly making sleeping difficult when raining. With Reiser Relief leadership and funding all these roofs were replaced! I can first hand report that what they say they support they do and in a timely manner! Reiser Relief is a first class non-profit and you can have confidence in donating to this organization.

"Christ teaches us that the best use of freedom is charity, which takes concrete form in self-giving and in service" (St. Pope John Paul II, Redemptor Hominis).

Freedom for us Americans is perhaps our greatest treasure, so using our freedom to offer our care for those in need is one of the greatest gifts we can give. As a Catholic seminarian, I commend Reiser Relief's steadfast charity! I pray for this mission and encourage others to give their time, prayers, money, and support. Reiser Relief is surely doing our Lord's work here on earth.

I commend also Will Jude's service as Executive Director. I worked many years with Will at a leadership camp; he has a most charitable heart, serving as a brother in Christ (especially to young men in the Haitian slums). Reiser Relief is fortunate to have such zealous leadership!

As a Catholic, we try to tithe 10% of our income for the church and charities of our choice. My husband and I support Reiser Relief as we are Pro-Life. We trust Will Jude, the director, to use our funds to help the people of Haiti especially our sponsor young adult, James. Will keeps us updated on James and his family as well as the happenings in Haiti. James writes us thank you letters about his gratitude. We thank God that we can be generous and pray for James and the people of Haiti. James prays for us in return. What more can you hope for? We will continue to pray for Will and his work to help the poorest of the poor. We hope you will too!

Father Bernard Reiser was a Catholic priest in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. He made his first trip to Haiti in 1996 and was devastated by what he saw there. Upon returning home, he said, “You can’t walk away from misery and do nothing.” And so he founded Reiser Relief, a mission to help the people of Haiti. After his death, a group of dedicated volunteers continue to carry out his work. Our core missions are Education, Agriculture, Elder care, and Job creation. Our goal is to partner with impactful organizations to empower and engage the people of Haiti in Christ’s name.

Hi there! My name is Joseph Brizola Jeudy. I am Haitian and am Reiser Relief in country manager, I have this job position since January 2018, yet I began to work with Reiser Relief staff as translator since 2017. I am delighted to be part of the team and I like their generosity.

We provide our prayers and financial supports (Constructions, renovations, Scholarships and students meals) to some schools “St Michael Archangel school”, “Terre Promise school” both are in Cité Soleil, PAP (Haiti), “Reiser Heights school” in Donte (Kenscoff), “Université Notre Dame D’Haiti”, “Université Innovatrice D’Haiti” both are in PAP(Haiti), and some trade scholarship students in “Centre de formation professionnelle Magalie Marcelin Myriam Merlet”, in “Alliance Institute” and in “Institut de Formation Moderne D’Haiti”. All these scholarship students are from Solino, Bel Air, Cité Soleil and Kenscoff. There are 2 other scholarship students in Leogane that I usually visit and their parents.

We financially and prayerfully support “Les Sœurs de compagnes de Jésus” with the Sacred Heart Elderly Home in Carrefour Feuille, nearby St Gerard Parish and the Village of Jesus Elderly Home in Leogane, Guardian Angel school, etc...

And in Marfranc (Jeremie) “Les Petites Sœurs de Sainte Thérèse de l’Enfant Jésus”, Sr Evelyne’s congregation. We provide prayers and financial supports to Cecelia Duffy Memorial school, the Elderly Home and the convent needs and more...

It is a great privilege for me to be part of Reiser Relief for Haiti and be helpful to my dear Haiti.

Reiser Relief has been incredibly impactful to me, my family, and most importantly, the entire community of Haiti. After participating in one of their sponsored mission trips, I found a new passion for helping those in need, and have been participating in events ever since. God bless!
