Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: As a non-profit (501c3) corporation and a (509a2) Public Charity, Reflect Recovery helps victims of domestic violence and violent crime; in part by preventing the mirror from reflecting the scars of past trauma, by reducing the appearance of the external reminders and visual triggers. While our specific focus is on reducing scarring and damage to the skin that can be a painful reminder to those who have suffered through violence, we are also a resource for people in our local community by providing connections to other organizations that may benefit them through different avenues (be that through housing, counseling, clothing, etc).
Target demographics: Survivors of Domestic Violence and Violent Crime
Geographic areas served: Mansfield, TX and the surrounding DFW areas.
Programs: Free services days through partnered medical spas for things ranging from micro-needling facials and fillers to skin and scar resurfacing, etc.
