Causes: Addictive Disorders, Mental Health
Mission: The mission of the organization is to: 1. Improve the lives of people with psychological and emotional disorders through the use of equine assisted psychotherapy regardless of ability to pay. 2. Increase the knowledge of the scientific and lay communities about the benefits of equine assisted psychotherapy through research and educational programs. 3. Serve as a regional clearinghouse for information about psychological and support services related to equine assisted psychotherapy.
Programs: During 2017 red skye foundation provided the following services at reduced or no cost to participants. 1) equine and animal assisted individual and group therapy sessions at our facility. 2) group sessions of animal assisted therapy off property. 3) off farm visits with equines- for events and hospital visits.
