We adopted a cat from this organization in January, she had been brought up to Massachusetts by a local rescue organization. We fell in love with her immediately. She was very small, scared, with runny eyes and patches of missing fur. We were told that she had stressed induced alopecia and had been throughly checked out by vets in Tennessee. Her medical paperwork indicated that she had received all vaccinations and was tested and found negative for felv. We found out after our first vet visit that this was not true. She has full blown felv, herpes, and several other issues. It’s now June and after spending thousands of dollars on vet visits we are now faced with making a decision to euthanize her as the infection has damaged her paws and she is in constant pain. We are more angry about the lack of full disclosure and inaccurate medical records we received from this rescue which did not give us the truth about her health. We love her and will see this through to the end with our beautiful CeCe but this experience has left us bitter about this organization.
