Causes: Alliances & Advocacy, Arts & Culture
Mission: Providee both educational and recreational programs to youths and adults ages 10-30 including the following: mentoring, faterhood program, teenage pregnancy prevention, hiv & std prevention, gang prevention, violence reduction, basketball instructional clinics, basketball tournaments, educational trips. In addition hosted educational workshops for both parents and teachers.
Programs: Tennis - tennis program for youths program ran in the summer - combined education and sports. Gang prevention program - educate parents and teachers about gang related behaviors and focus on recognition and prevention. Conducted various basketball tournaments for participants from the ages of 12-25 years old. Sponsored and participated in various forums about education and community affairs.
