Causes: Homeless & Housing, Temporary Housing
Mission: To provide safe transitional housing opportunities in a home-like environment that supports men and women establishing lives in recovery from alcohol and/or drug addictions.
Programs: The gate house has helped to develop, and manages, gender-specific recovery residences in lancaster county. Residents may stay for up to one year, while working toward independent living. Residents participate in weekly house meetings and perform household chores as part of a community living environment, and learn to navigate the challenges of early recovery with the help of live-in peer support.
