Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Military & Veterans Organizations, Veterans
Mission: Recon Chief Inc. allows the voices of our Veterans to be heard regarding the issues closely related to post-war traumas. Our mission includes raising awareness and outreach for veteran PTSD, Suicide Prevention, Military Sexual Trauma (MST) advocacy, and mental health awareness through an empowering experience in the racing world. Through team building, community outreach, program development, volunteer-ship, and essentially communicating to our veterans that their sense of belonging and camaraderie still matters outside of the military, we can make a difference in their transition out of the service and exercise their unique abilities developed from the military here on the race track. Our goal is to provide a safety net for transitioning personnel to help reduce the risks of veteran suicide.
Target demographics: Veterans diagnosed with post-war trauma, PTSD, TBI, MST and other mental health issues related to pre and post military transition

Programs: recreational therapy, vocational therapy, building camaraderie, belonging, and creating a safety net for veterans and their families
