Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Community & Neighborhood Development, Economic Development, Home Improvement & Repairs, Homeless & Housing, Housing Rehabilitation, Human Services
Mission: Rebuilding Together Alexandria, partners with volunteers and communities to rehabilitate the homes of low-income homeowners, so that they may continue to live in warmth, safety, and independence.

Geographic areas served: City of Alexandria, VA
Programs: free home repair and maintenance and conducting a National Rebuilding Day every year on the last Saturday in April. This past year, more than 90 homes and non-profit facilities were rehabilitated, with the help of over 750 volunteers. We also offer community rehabilitation events year-round.
