Mission: Rebel Oaks Exotic Sanctuary founded in 1991, grew out of the overwhelming need for a sanctuary and education regarding wild animals being bred in the US for pets. In 1997, we became a non-profit organization.Since that time we have given shelter to many unwanted exotic pets. With the new laws concerning exotic pet ownership, there is an ever increasing need of shelters for these animals. It is our goal to see that no one's pet becomes someone else's hunting trophy or a victom of euthanasia. We hope to educate the public as to the needs of, and responsible owenership of these animals.
