Target demographics: young children
Direct beneficiaries per year: students at Rutherford Elementary school in the Central Dauphin School District. We plan to expand into the Harrisburg School District.
Geographic areas served: schools in Harrisburg Pennsylvania
Programs: tutoring to Kindergarten, First and Second grade students who need additional help to make adequate progress in reading. We also provide a Lunch Buddy lunchtime reading program one time a week to students who not only need some additional time reading but also need a mentor with whom they can connect.
