Mission: To provide financial and educational resources to patients and families with cystic fibrosis.
Programs: We provided financial assistance to over 167 cystic fibrosis patients and their families. The assistance we provided included, but was not limited to: payments of healthcare, insurance premiums, deductibles and co- payments, food expenses and utility bills during time of crisis. We provide education to over 1500 families through a quarterly newsletter, blog and facebook. We maintain a comprehensive educational website for cystic fibrosis concerns. Amounts paid are determined by social workers unassociated with the foundation. Amounts are sent directly to insurance companies, mortgage companies, etc. Because of the confidentially regulations, the foundation does not know the patient identified with the funds.
