Mission: To give orphans, street kids, widows and vulnerable women access to food, water, medical care, education, shelter and clothing.
Programs: Christmas in uganda is a yearly missions trip where we bring christmas gifts, clothes and special party to orphans and street kids. We saw 2000 in attendance in 2017. Expenses totaled 80,068. 50. Income for christmas in uganda 2017 totaled 87,270.
worship arts camp is a summer camp held at an orphanage in uganda, eastern africa. In 2017, 300 orphans and kids from the nearby slum attended this weeklong program of music, dance and art. Expenses totaled 40,662. 92. Income totaled 39,318. 45.
our support for smile africa ministries, an orphanage and ministry in tororo, uganda was beneficial to the 32 babies in the babies home, the 66 older children living onsite, the 400 children from nearby slums who come daily for breakfast and lunch and the widows and vulnerable women in their training program. Our sponsorship program ruro sisterhood saw 50 women sponsored in 2017. We financially supported the founder of smile africa, pastor ruth kahawa, provided monies for electricity and power to be installed in their new training facility and funded the babies home for 4 months. We sent a total of 70, 137. 50 from undesignated monies given to ruro.
