It’s so wonderful to see the progress this organization and team has made over the years. I am proud to support their work and the impact it has on the next generation of New York book lovers.

I love this nonprofit's concept; distributing books and early literacy guidance to children and their families at doctors check ups. Using the existing healthcare infrastructure to better support families and their relationships with their physicians. The program has a robust research base and should be a part of every health care visit!

This nonprofit is a wonderful concept; however, in its current iteration of leadership and staff, it seems as if they value quantity over quality and do not truly listen to the needs of the community. The pediatric providers are doing the best they can, but it appears as if ROAR staff do not actually help remove barriers that the frontline staff face. Just because the number of books they have provided increased, does not mean that the program quality has increased. They award providers with a whole family advocate award, but what are their staff and leadership actively doing to actually be whole family advocates themselves?
