Causes: Protestant, Religion
Mission: We provide both christian education and tutorial assistance to at-risk children in apartment complexes. Our purpose is to reinforce the teachings of jesus christ to children who are typically in elementary and middle public schools and to assist them with their homework since most of the parents speak limited english. We also provide esl (english as a second language) classes to parents and others in the apartment complexes in order to enhance their communication skills while in the u. S. With teachers, doctors, etc. We also plan to expand our tutoring programs by working in conjunction with the local churches and public school systems to reach youth who are at-risk to illegal drugs and alcohol abuse. We also provide counseling services to individuals who are and may be at risk from alcohol and substance abuse.
Programs: After school program - after school program located in two apartment complexes (the corners and valencia). We work with 70+ students on a weekly basis to help them with their homework. We provide a bible truth, games and nutritional snacks each week. Several times throughout the year we plan events such at block parties (easter egg hunts, christmas party), bowling outings, movie days and trips to fun places (like monkey joes). We continue to improve self-esteem and bolster self confidence while maintaining a stance of staying away from drugs and alcohol. We have also added an esl program for the parents and other adults at the complex in order to improve their communication efforts while in the u. S.
additional outreach - this year we had another domestic opportunity to share hope with the people in lawrenceville, ga. We were able to reach people in the community and share the love of jesus with them to provide hope and strength for the future. We aided in community park outreach events, worship services and building relationships for gracepointe community church.

relocation/planning trips/expanding mission - moving to az. Trips for continuing ministry and scoping out new vision for mission
international outreach - able to complete one trip to india to encourage missionaries there and to share the love of jesus with national people of india
