ravenna's total solar eclipse event hosted over 20,000 visitors over the course of a weekend in august 2017 and showcased our small town. Visitors contributed to an economic boost by buying gas, food, supplies, and souvenirs. The opportunity was maximized by continuing the conversation on social media with the visitors with reasons why they should return for our hometown celebration of annevar.
