Mission: To assist the societal under-privileged through education, guidance, and financial tools in achieving self-sustaining habits and status, especially those needing to recover from incarceration, abuse, or other life-altering events.
Programs: Housing: 15 assisted. A family of 5 assisted in moving from a motel room at $80 per day into a three bedroom apartment with a relative and starting their own lawn service business. A family of 8 assisted in getting a job as well as starting a business, moving from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 5 bedroom house, and now gainfully employed.
education: 2 assisted by providing references, down-payment and first two months utilities as well as initial tuition and registration costs to move and attend college.
financial education: 4 assisted in credit card, automobile, and banking services to establish credit (in order to get a credit card that they use and pay in full each month), get a loan through establishing a certificate of deposit and borrowing against it for the car, paying monthly until they have paid off the car and the loan and now have both the vehicle and the cd.
computers and software as well as instruction and training to enable individuals to compete in the world of technology, includes mailing expenses and office supplies.
