Hardworking individuals at the organization. Hardworking, and an unbelievable blessing to the community. I am beyond glad I've spent more than 10 years with this organization
I need to thank the foundation for their kindness, my daughter has received various compliments thru the years. I am very impressed with the classes / teachers and Master Mahai along with the rest of the staff that councils my special needs daughter.
I appreciate all that the foundation does. blessings
As a volunteer at Q&M Martial Arts School I have experienced the positive effect Master Quinones and Master Mahai have on their students. The teaching of their art helps students physically and mentally but, most of all builds character and confidence thus increasing their self esteem. Their approach is firm with gentleness and love at the same time. Their involmemnt in various charities and community teaches the students that we are all part of a world beyond our selves . I believe that being involved in this school helps each student to build a foundation to succeed in all aspects of their lives.
Everything this organization does is nothing but for the better of the entire community. My son and I love the amazing instructors and have taught us so much with just the few months we've been with them.
Now I feel more secure about my son, that he can defend himself if he was to ever be bullied, and I feel more secure about myself in that I can defend myself if I'm ever attacked by anyone in the street.
All I can do is that Q&M Martial Arts Academy Inc for all of this.
Amazed that this organization has given up it's time to look at the Vietnamese Veterans, Ronald McDonald House, and the Salvation Army. If Q&M Martial Arts Academy Inc was a human individual, it would be a person with a Heart Of GOLD.
They also devote themselves to teaching TaeKwonDo to those who are willing to learn.
The black belts are very understanding and passionate about what they teach.
Excellent black belts.
They are very patient with all of their students, yet they discipline the students with authority. The black belts know there limits and the students limits yet everyone at Q&M Martial Arts Academy Inc. always tries their hardest to go past that limit.
Everyone at this organization lives up to the the saving "Never Give Up!!"
Master Sonny Mahai, Master Pablo Quinones, all of the other black belts, and all of the students are also very generous individuals as they always donate to those who are needy, like the Ronald McDonald House, the Salvation Army, and others.
as a student of this organization as a teenager i learned how to really manage my energy an spirit the discipline they taught me really carried me into adulthood they are very helpful towards children an they teach self defense in an effective manner for all ages i recommend this school to anyone who wants to get in shape an learn selfdefense an discipline for all aspects of life

As a parent of two adult sons that attended Q&M, as a retired N.Y. Special education teacher,
and finally... as a community activist ... Q&M Stands For Everything I Strongly Believe In !
Q&M has done tremendous things for their students ,especially the special needs, their families and the community. From developing their self-esteem , improving their school grades, which helps the parents, and showing them how they can help their community.
Through their Clothes and Food Drives, and their Gifts to Ronald McDonald House ,the parents as well as their students have seen that... Q&M ,Quinones and Mahai , are not only Skilled Martial Artists , but ,to me, Wonderful and Caring individuals that Always strive to give their 100% to their students and their community.
It is my Pleasure to continue to support them in any way I am able !!!
I work with on of the Instructors and based on his enthusiasm for what he does with his students inspired me to help the organization as their new secretary. From what I've seen of the organization they care and are deeply committed to making real changes in their communities.
I have been with this organization since I was 17 and I'm about to turn 29. They care not only about the student but about the person. It goes far deeper then simply providing a service and being paid to do so. It's a family and yes the training is hard but it is because it is even harder in the street and becoming more so everyday I love the black belts and the school like family
