Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The huff elementary pta (parent teacher association), which was chartered in august 1998, plays an essential role in ensuring that all of our students have access to an excellent education. Through its focus on academic achievement, a strong sense of community, parent involvement, and parent education, the pta is the cornerstone of an inclusive community where every member is appreciated and valued. Through financial support for classroom materials, field trips, assemblies, and art and music programming, etc. , the pta enriches our school and enables our students to meet their academic potential.
Programs: The huff pta association sponsors a variety of programs that directly and indirectly benefit huff children. These programs and resources include but are not limited to assemblies, chess tournament, classroom newspapers and magazines, cultural diversity events, environmental education, family science education night, field trips, art, teacher, classroom and library supplies, music pe and recess equipment, garden supplies and staff supplies and staff appreciation. There are 569 students at huff.
