Nonprofit Overview

Mission: We engage and empower disadvantaged, at-risk, socially-marginalized, and health-impacted youth, as well as youth offender populations, through combined (academic and arts) educational programming which culminates in public arts creation and performances for donation to the community as public service. Project YEAH strives to create tomorrow's youth leaders through education, arts expression, group interaction, and community service. Development of pride and respect for self and community (as well as leadership development) are crucial components of our programs. By providing communities with rich & inspiring public artworks and performances of positive, social value, we enrich through art, youth development, and positive community interaction and contribution. We foster mentorship between local, professional artists and youth participants through teaching-artist residencies. YEAH also facilitates exhibition opportunities for program-created artwork through institutions in the private and public sector.
