Programs: Project vote's voter participation program aims to increase registration and voting among historically underrepresented, voting-eligible american citizens. In 2014, project vote undertook a complex voter registration experiment to rest the efficacy of different registration strategies.
get out the vote: project vote conducted an experiment in the mid-term election to test the effectiveness of several different types of nonpartisan contact methods on voter turnout. The experiment reached nearly 100,000 households in communities with low vote-propensity.
the public agency registration project: the public agency registration project (the project) seeks to enforce section 7 national voter registration act (nvra) of 1993 through technical assistance, advocacy, and litigation. In 2014, the government agency voter registration program worked on securing compliance with national voter registration act (nvra) by public assistance agencies in massachusetts, nevada, north carolina, arkansas, oklahoma, south carolina, new jersey, california, pennsylvania, maryland, new york, florida, alabama, georgia, colorado, new mexico, arizona, washington, and connecticut. We also worked on securing compliance with the nvra by department of motor vehicles in california, nevada, florida and north carolina.
