I have 3 children involved in the program and it has literally been the answer to my prayers. After Covid interrupted their academic journey, traditional high school did not seem to be the right fit. At first I enrolled my oldest son who was in danger of not graduating again due to the Covid slump, after a few days of seeing how he responded to the program, I asked to enroll my other son. It was the best thing I could have done for them in the past few years. Once my daughter reached the age of 16 she enrolled as well. The values and skills they have been taught is immeasurable. My three children are now high school graduates, as well as productive, employable members of society all because of the program. It takes a village and I am truly glad Project Rebuild has become part of ours.
Project Rebuild is an amazing organization that helps students to overcome hidden everyday problems and realize their full potential in putting themselves, their goals, and their desires in life first. It gives them a safe space to push forward despite adversity and constantly encourages them to keep going. It's absolutely empowering to see students receive their diploma, with tears in their eyes, and hear their stories. It's such an inspiring organization to be a part of and see the impact in real time.
Before joining the staff of Project REBUILD, I spent several years as both a volunteer and a board member. What made the organization special to me were the relationships between staff and members that you could see. There was a realness, mutual respect, and genuine care and love for the young people. When the opportunity presented itself to join the organization formally, I took it and have had the pleasure of working with some of the best people one could ask for and learning from some of the most creative and motivated young people I never knew existed.
As a mentor for Project Rebuild, I saw the hearts of the individuals that worked with the young adults. Being in contact with the students on a regular basis led me to want to do more for this organization. Project Rebuild has changed the lives of so many over the years. I love what they stand for and what they do, not only for the young adults, but for the community also. I can't wait to see what they do in the years to come as an employee.
Project REBUILD won my heart when I saw the Passion & Vision of this Workforce Program. It gives more than second chances to youth from 16 to 24 yrs old.
My heart is people, being able to make a difference in another's life. Catching the Vision & Dream of REBUILD, excited my own passion, it has stretched me, allowed me to reach, learn & develop myself, to be my best for this program and the youth.
Project REBUILD's work is more than what we do or make, it is the entirety of effort that goes into each step of the process. We sow seeds of; Education, Training, Professional Development, Leadership and so much more, into each youth's life.
We believe and have a motto it is ... "WHATEVER IT TAKES", it also is an award that is given to one student at Graduation time.
Project REBUILD has a Fantastic Team of Staff which makes the Impossible - Possible for all that comes into the WorkForce Program.
It is a pleasure to write a review for Project REBUILD - Ms. Joni Cline
Project Rebuild is amazing at helping young adults find their place in the world. The program provides structure, soft and hard skills development, teambuilding and tough love. It develops students leadership skills and gives them the tools they need to enter the workforce. To see the tears in a students eyes when they walk across the stage to get their high school diploma is so moving. So many of them fight unseen challenges and Project Rebuild gives them the opportunity and space they need to overcome them and grow into the young adult they maybe never thought they could be.
