Project Moses Colorado really started shortly after 9/11/2001 when founder and president, Richard Roy Blake met members of various Christian minorities who were persecuted and threatened in their home countries. The experience moved him greatly and he noted that for Christians in nations such as Pakistan, their Christianity was a much more deep and profound. He came to believe that their Christianity was very much like the faith of the very early Christians in Rome when Christianity was a death penalty offense, much as is still the case in a number of nations.

Project Moses Colorado is a tax exempt 501 c 3 nonprofit organization whose mission of Project Moses Colorado is to aid, advocate for, assist in achieving asylum and/or relocation to the West and, if possible, protect persecuted and/or threatened Christian minorities in nations such as Pakistan.

One family we have been able to help is the result of a true-life Romeo and Juliet story. A young Christian Pakistani man, fell in love with, married and helped to convert to Christianity a young woman from a militant Islamic family. In 2013 militant threats forced the young Christian man and his ex-Muslim wife to flee Pakistan for Bangkok Thailand along with 15 members of the young man's extended family who, in his absence would also have faced death, as militant Pakistani Islamists believe that if they can't find and kill you, that your family is also fair game.

During their eight-year exile in Thailand the couple had also two children. The family of now 17 were finally given asylum and resettled in Canada in late 2021. While in Thailand they were not allowed to work and in constant danger of being jailed for visa overstays. Project Moses Colorado helped them with funds for rent, food and medicine and finally with payment of their visa overstay fine, without which they could arrested at the airport and returned to their likely death in Pakistan.

Happily all 17 Pakistani Christians are safely in Canada. Unfortunately, many, many more are still in Thailand, Sri Lanka or worse, Pakistan where they face rampant discrimination, threats, terrorist attacks, kidnappings and human rights abuses. The situation of Pakistani Christians is, in many ways, uniquely heinous. As the second largest Christian minority in the Islamic world it has been relentlessly attacked by the Pakistani government and militant Islamists (who really run Pakistan). Pakistan's so-called blasphemy law which punishes any form of speech that can be construed to criticize Islam with death has been widely condemned by human rights groups and governments around the world.

It is dangerous for a Christian to express any opinion about Mohammed or Islam and Muslims who are having a dispute of any sort with a Christian or who seek to confiscate the property or business of a Christian will frequently lodge complaints against them. Pakistan contains close to 100 separate Islamic terrorist groups, many of whom have conducted a campaign of terror attacks in churches, especially at times such as Christmas and Easter. The Pakistani constitution also discriminates against Christians including outlawing the ability of any Christian to ever be the President of Pakistan.

In what is in many ways a holdover from the caste system of India, Christians are usually relegated to the most poorly paying, demeaning and dangerous jobs. An estimated 700 Christian women are kidnapped annually, almost always being forced to marry their abductor and convert to Islam.

Currently Project Moses Colorado, a 501(c ) (3) nonprofit Colorado corporation, seeks to provide assistance to persecuted and threatened Pakistani Christian either by assisting with their relocation to safety in the West, ideally in Colorado, where numerous individuals have indicated that they are willing to either sponsor or employ them. We intend to do this through immigration assistance that may also involve immigration attorneys and through the assistance of public officials we have been able to persuade.

Alternatively, Project Moses Colorado seeks to provide aid in place either to Christians who are currently unable to relocate or wish to stay in Pakistan or other nations where they intend to assist others. For example Project Moses Colorado gave start-up funds for a home-based sewing business for a couple of Pakistani Christian women hoping to be able to help their family and reduce the risk of being kidnapped. Currently Project Moses Colorado has no paid staff and all board members are serving on a 100% voluntary basis.

Hello to everyone in the name of Lord Jesus Christ our saviour. My name is Angel. I am a christian persecutor from Pakistan and a asylum seeker in Thailand. My whole family is not safe in Pakistan we have danger of life. They can kill us if we reject them to be in muslim community. They forcefully converted my father in muslim community and wanted my mom, brother and me to be converted in muslim community. But as a Christian by heart we were not ready to accept the muslim religion because we believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and saviour who saved us from our sins. Then we came to Thailand and because we don't have enough money to pay for our visa we are illegal here and can not work because Thai Government don't allow asylum seeker to work without work permit. And also Thai Government is not a signatory with UNO that's why Thai Government do not accpet UNHCR and they do not accept asylum seeker and Refugees. If we will work without work permit and they will catch anyone working here without work permit they will send them to IDC. Because we didn't have enough money to pay for our finacial needs my father went to work to get some money for our finacial needs and he caught by immigration and sent to IDC. He has been arrested 3 months ago. And my mom is very worried about how everything will be managed. And we had hope that brother Richard will help us as a brother in Christianity. We told our situation to brother Richard and ask him if he can help us and he helped us in the name of Jesus Christ. Day by day we are having to much difficulty in surviving here and also my father is very weak because in IDC they don't provide good food to eat. I pray to God that may God bless the hands who are providing the funds to help people who are in need as well as the efforts of those who working very hard to provide people. May God bless you all and give you more courage to donate the funds to help more people who are having problem in surviving here or who are in IDC. Thanks.

Pakistani Christians seeking asylum from Pakistan have their asylum cases held up for years at the United Nations High Commission for Refugees facilities in Bangkok and elsewhere. Many have been in Bangkok for almost 10 years having to live in the shadows. However, of late Pakistani Christians that have already made it to the U.S. and Canada have discovered an alternative method for getting to the West through Dubai. There are 1500 American companies in Dubai and many of them are seeking employees. If you can get employment in Dubai with a valid work visa you can oftentimes get to the US through that employment or application for a work visa after working a few months in Dubai and being a good worker. The best way to get a job with an American firm in Dubai is with a good resume. Resume experts tell us that it is best to have a one page resume that directly quotes from the job offering. A lot of US companies are using AI to scan resumes looking for key words. Therefore you have to be flexible and have more than one version of your resume. It would also be good to research which companies are also experiencing labor shortages in the US so you could transfer with the company. Pakistani Muslims are using this but at least one who did has left Islam and is now a Christian.

This Pakistani Christian Family needs our help. Having fled to Thailand eight years ago as the result the Islamist backlash of a Christian man's marriage to a Muslim woman, they have found Thailand not to be much better. The numerous Christians fleeing Pakistan go to Thailand because they can do so with a tourist visa and can apply for asylum with the United Nations High Commission on Refugees (UNHCR). However, once in Thailand they find that the UNHCR takes many years to process their asylum requests. As their tourist visas only give them very temporary legal status they must either overstay their visas or return to Pakistan, usually at the risk of death. While in Thailand they are not allowed to legally work and can be imprisoned for visa overstays, as is currently the case with the husband of this family. Because of the risk, these and other Pakistani Christians fear to leave their homes, however, crude. As a result their only hope and means of support has to come from their families or fellow Christians.

The good news is that while the UNHCR turned down their asylum request they have found a generous western government that will give them asylum in the near future. The bad news is that they will each have to pay an overstay fine of around $600 each or face imprisonment when they go to the airport to fly to their new home. They are also behind on their rent and utilities. Project Moses Colorado estimates that they need at least $3500.00 at this time.

God Bless

Greetings to all of you in the name of Jesus Christ. First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Sana Sohail. I am from Pakistan. We are Christian persecutor and we came to Thailand for the safety of me and my family. Because they forced my husband to convert his religion into muslim community and they want us as well to be converted into muslim community. When we came to Thailand we thought our all difficulties are finished but after some time our situation was getting to be worst. And my husband got arrested by immigration on 24th of April 2023. I was very worried about this situation and I requested brother Richard for help. I was surviving alone with my children and I don't have any job because I have no visa and Thai government don't allow asylum seeker to work without work permit. I was worried how I will manage all the things but I asked brother Richard for help with very high hopes and as a Christian brother, in Christ he helped me in the name of LORD the GOD our creator. I pray that God give more courage to the people who are giving funds and brother Richard who is helping our brothers and sisters in their difficult time. God bless you all.

As a contributor to Project Moses Colorado, I have consistently monitored their activities. I have never before seen a nonprofit that has had such far reaching effects with so little funds. Neither the President nor any officer receive any money whatsoever. Their work is difficult and in some cases hazardous, so I keep them in prayer as well.

Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ”.

Dear Respected & Honorabl brother's and sisters in christ

Many Greetings in The Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ

Introduction

My name is Kashif Naeem Paul , I am persecuted Christian from Pakistan. we are 4 family members.

Reason to leave Pakistan:

Because my younger Brother got married with Muslim girl. When he got married on 25 October 2013,And on dated 28th October 2013 extreme fundamentalist Muslims people attack on our home even my Brother’s laws family register a case in Police station now Police including extreme fundamentalist Muslims people want to kills us in Pakistan. There were a few attempts to specify this situation which was of no avail. The situation went out of control which made our life hell. We all brothers try to find a safe place in different cities of Pakistan for safe of our life but could not find it Understanding me the existing situation that is there is no Law and order, there is not a single place where there is writ of the Government fully established; it is extremely fragile situation. In this  Situation Churches, NGO even our others relative’s not give us shelter in their homes and It is very much and in some situation, worse than a jungle. From that time on word Pakistan is no longer a safe place for us. So at this situation we thanks Lord who send one angel for us he help us regarding making a Passport and with his great help and efforts we left the Pakistan very  safely  and we move to Bangkok on dated 18 December 2013, to till now.

Situation in Thailand:

Unfortunately Thai Government is not a Signatory with UNO on Human Rights Charter Geneva Convention 1951.That’s why Thai Government not Accepted to UNHCR and they do not accept to Asylum Seekers and Refugees due to this reason we called illegal migrants even we move to Bangkok with Thai Tourist Visas and after two months our visas expired that’s why Thai Immigrations and Police with Army can Catch us from everywhere and any time and send us to the Immigration Detention Center Thai Government is not allowed us to do any work and we are living like beggars in small single room with five to six members in the same room. We always see the others hands to feed us the main thing which disturb a lot to the parents that our children are not going to the school for study which is their main right to get education. Even kids are lost Playing life here in Bangkok, Thailand. Because of the fear of Thai immigration and Police we do not go outside freely our rooms is sweet jail for us. Our Children spent all time in the room that’s why they are mentally disturb we do not understand Thai language and so that is why we do not understand the difference between Thai Police, immigration and the security guards. Whenever children see any person in the uniform they become frightened and most of the time children got sick and we do not take them to the doctors because of the fear of the Thai police to be arrested. Children if see any police van they become scared and they do not go out of the room for two three days even. We remain close the doors all the time, Sometimes, the Christian Thai neighbors give medicine and other edible things to us when they see us such situation or position. Being Christian and human being, we request that due to all these circumstances please do something for us to make our children free from the scared and frightened life. Kindly do something in the form of sponsoring us on humanity ground so we can take a free breath in the free land.

Our Status:

UNHCR not Accept as Refugee and our case is closed ۔

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

(2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

Prayer Request:

As you all are well aware about the situation of asylum seekers/refugees in Thailand, so please keep us in you prayers that God can protect all brothers and sisters standard in Thailand.

God bless you all.

Sincerely In Christ

Kashif Naeem Paul

Thank you

Chrisitians in Islamic nations are facing heavy persecutions to the point of death and are in need of help and support from as many sources as possible. They are also in need of prayers.

Richard Blake has worked tirelessly; meeting with Congressional Representatives, speaking out on local radio programs, and facilitating the visa process to help families who are being persecuted for their faith in their home countries to get to safety. I greatly admire Richard's Ministry and pray that it will receive continued and increased support.
