Causes: Health, Patient & Family Support
Mission: To provide charitable and educational services to youthful cancer patients throughout northeast ohio during all stages of diagnosis, treatment and recovery. To make distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Programs: Providing for the comfort and needs of children going through chemotherapy. Some of the items provided were: 1) bears and gifts for kids in the oncology ward 2) end of chemo parties for the children who completed their therapy, 3) holiday parties for those in the oncology ward during various holidays, and 4) summer camp for children who are oncology patients.
scholarships provided to cancer survivors for post secondary education.
