Programs: Powerbase: with more than 90 community-based organizing groups using it, powerbase, based on the open-source platform civicrm, is the database the organization developed specifically for community-based organizations to manage online and on-the-ground organizing, communications, grassroots fundraising, and voter engagement and advocacy efforts. The program offers database migration services and hosting with monthly webinars, individual organizational trainings, face-to-face peer trainings, and on-going technical support and coaching.
civicrm development: the organization participates in the development and improvement of the open source software civicrm upon which the database, powerbase, is built. Through this work, the organization serves all of the community based organizing groups that use powerbase by regularly improving the tool, providing timely updates and upgrades, and working with the powerbase and civicrm communities to add new necessary features to the database for the benefit of community based organizing groups across the country.
