Mission: Preservation action council of san jose (pac-sj) is dedicated to preserving san jose's architectural heritage through education, advocacy, and events. Since its founding in 1990 pacsj has focused on making our community a better place by preserving its history so that current and future generations can learn from the past.

Since its founding in 1990 pacsj has focused on making our community a better place by preserving its history so that current and future generations can learn from the past. We educate the community and raise funds through a variety of programs and events: garage sale -- we hold garage and salvage sales during the year that serves as fundraising events but also provide volunteer and educational opportunities for members and the public. Volunteers operate the sale. All items are donated from neighbors and members and sold in an historic residential area. Sales are open from dawn-to-dusk with food and music. Revenue: $ 18,244/expenses: $2,259. Estate sales - we have occasionally conducted estate sales. Items were transported to the sale where an experienced volunteer sales team sorted and priced items.
