Mission: Ppc's mission is to improve access to effective, safe and affordable prescription drugs and medicine by educating and providing outreach services to all public and private stakeholders on the issues relating to reducing prescription drug prices and expanding access to affordable prescription drugs in the united states.
Programs: Ppc 2013 accomplishments ppc engaged in consumer and provider education and payment reform initiatives including:continued promotion of maines academic detailing program, the maine independent clinical information servicework with the university of maine to promote nonbiased consumer education materials to member of health benefit planpresentations, dissemination, and displaying of nonbiased prescriber and consumer education materials at conference workshops and displays forged new relationships with statewide organizations to promote nonbiased, evidenced based prescription drug information including specific information related to the prescribing of antipsychotic medicine to children.
