Mission: The purpose of the pregnancy center of the illinois valley is to provide education, godly guidance, life affirming programs, services, and loving encouragement to those who may be pregnant, parenting, or post-abortive.
Programs: Christian outreach: many people are given the opportunity to learn more about jesus christ. All persons are always treated with respect, love and compassion. They may receive pamphlets, bibles, and christian books upon request.
pregancy testing and counseling: many women and men are given educational materials related to pregnancy options. Pregnancy tests and mentoring are given upon request. Referrals for ultrasound and other resources are provided, including: dept. Of human services, women's crisis support team, food bank, hud, gospel rescue mission, alcohol & drug recovery programs, etc. Approximately 39 people served.
parenting education: parenting classes, videos, books, pamphlets, mentor programs, life skills, conflict resolutions skills, interpersonal relationship skills, etc. Are given regularly. Referrals for project baby check are also given. Participating clients may earn baby clothing, diapers, etc. Approximately 83 people served.
