Causes: Animals, Zoos & Aquariums
Mission: Dedicated to the support of potter park zoo and inspiring people to conserve animals and the natural world.
Programs: Education - the society sponsors educational programs to promote further knowledge about animals, conservation, and the natural world. In 2017, the society held zookambi classes in which 487 children grades 1-7 attended. Other educational activities included overnight visits through the sundown safari and girl scout programs and big zoo lesson. The society had 93 docent volunteers who took animals to local area schools for students to enhance their knowledge of animals, conservation, and nature.
